Amanda Seyfried’s real estate portfolio includes two current properties in New York, along with two homes she has since sold or listed. Her properties have drawn attention as the actor appears in the news following the release of You Can See Everything, a documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. Seyfried portrayed Holmes in Hulu’s The Dropout.

Her New York City apartment is reportedly located on the Upper West Side, inside a historic 1907 building listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Architectural Digest featured the farmhouse-inspired, light-filled space in a 2023 tour. Seyfried reportedly paid $2.52 million for the apartment, which was created by renovating three former staff quarters.

The apartment includes bright white walls, a white oak kitchen, antique details and custom storage solutions. Seyfried said that when she purchased it, “all that was there were windows.”

Seyfried also owns a country-style farmhouse in the Catskills, which she now uses as her full-time home. She purchased the property in 2010, according to People Magazine, and later renovated it into a working rescue farm with horses, chickens, peacocks, ducks and goats. The property is registered as a nonprofit.

The farmhouse was featured in a Vogue Australia tour in 2017, and Seyfried later showed the property on CBS Sunday Morning. Renovations included an addition to the small original home to create a kitchen, along with other changes. The purchase price has not been reported. Seyfried has described the property as the “best decision for privacy, peace, and nature” for her family.

Her former Los Angeles home was listed for sale in late August 2026 for $3.2 million, about 15 years after she purchased it. Realtor.com reported that Seyfried bought the 1916 property for nearly half of its asking price. Located in the Runyon Canyon area, the home has three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms and approximately 2,700 square feet of space.

The Los Angeles property includes a swimming pool, spa, wrap-around porch, privacy hedges and a detached garage converted into a workout area. Seyfried reportedly bought it from Adam Brody in 2011.

Seyfried also previously owned a two-bedroom condominium in Greenwich Village. She sold the approximately 1,600-square-foot apartment for $3.4 million in 2022. The residence was built in 1928, and Seyfried had purchased it in 2010 for $1.9 million.
