Apple TV has added 20 classic movies to its digital library in November 2026. The titles span genres, including science-fiction films such as Minority Report and Interstellar, comedies such as Anchorman, and the Oscar-winning Forrest Gump.
Among the new additions, three films stand out as viewing picks: Clueless (1995), Big (1988) and Dead Poets Society (1989).
Amy Heckerling’s Clueless is a coming-of-age comedy loosely based on Jane Austen’s Emma. Alicia Silverstone plays Cher Horowitz, a Beverly Hills teenager who sets out to help others and eventually starts questioning her own feelings. The cast also includes Paul Rudd, Brittany Murphy, Wallace Shawn and Twink Caplan.
In Penny Marshall’s fantasy comedy Big, 12-year-old Josh Baskin, played by David Moscow, wakes up in the body of a 30-year-old man, portrayed by Tom Hanks. He moves to New York and takes a job at a toy company while adjusting to adult responsibilities and a complicated connection with co-worker Susan Lawrence, played by Elizabeth Perkins. Hanks received his first Academy Award nomination for the role.
Dead Poets Society stars Robin Williams as John Keating, an unconventional English teacher at a strict boys’ school in 1950s Vermont. Keating encourages his students, including characters played by Robert Sean Leonard, Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles, to think differently about literature and life.
All three films are available to stream on Apple TV.
