The Dreame Aero Straight Pro, a wet-to-dry hair straightener that combines drying and styling, is available at Amazon for AU$498 after a 34% discount. The deal is described as an early Black Friday offer, with availability limited to remaining stock. Dreame also lists the device for AU$499.
The tool uses angled airflow and adjustable heat settings to dry wet hair into a smooth, naturally straight finish. Its sensors monitor temperature up to 200 times per second, while the Dreame app’s AI styling assistant can assess hair type and moisture levels and adjust settings for a personalised routine.
A Tom’s Guide reviewer who tested the Aero Straight Pro for more than a month said it cut their usual drying time from 35 minutes to about 18. The reviewer also found its results and features closely comparable to the Dyson Airstrait, though the Dreame’s regular AU$749 price is only AU$50 below Dyson’s full retail price.
Dreame lists the Aero Straight Pro’s motor speed at 120,000 rpm and airflow speed at 58 metres per second. The corresponding figures quoted for the Dyson are 106,000 rpm and 48 metres per second.
