Dreo has recalled more than 370,000 DR-HSH015 space heaters in the United States and Canada after receiving 17 reports of the units catching fire. The company said three incidents caused property damage, and one resulted in a hand burn injury.
The affected product is a black, 13-inch ceramic electric heater sold with a remote control. The recall applies to units manufactured between April 2025 and January 2026; owners can check the manufacturing date stamped on the bottom of the heater.
The $100 heaters were sold through retailers including Home Depot, Best Buy, Kohl’s and Costco, with sales reported as late as October 2026.
Dreo advises owners to stop using an affected heater immediately and unplug it. The company says to cut off the power cable to destroy the unit, then contact Dreo to arrange a free replacement.
