A small Kobalt tool box sold exclusively by Lowe’s is attracting attention as a practical gift for DIY enthusiasts and anyone who needs a more organized way to store everyday items. The Kobalt Mini 3-Drawer Lavender Steel Tool Box is designed to keep frequently used tools accessible without requiring a large storage system.
The tool box measures 11 inches long and 7 inches tall. It includes a slip-resistant mat and is available with either two or three drawers, providing different storage configurations in a compact format. Its popularity has also extended beyond tools, with users reportedly adapting it to store beauty and hygiene products or office supplies.
The box can be used on its own or stacked with Kobalt’s mini cabinet. This allows users to expand their storage as their collection grows without replacing the entire organization system. It is also available in 12 powder-coat finish options, offering different color choices and styles.
In practical use, the tool box can hold items such as a tape measure, level, screwdriver, drill bits, finishing nails and an extra drill battery. At about five pounds, it can be carried around an apartment or workspace during longer projects.
Its small footprint is particularly useful where storage space is limited. The combination of drawer options, color choices and stackability makes the Kobalt Mini Tool Box a flexible starting point for a DIY kit or a compact storage solution for commonly used supplies.
The box can also serve as the foundation for a beginner’s DIY gift set, with basic essentials stored together in one portable container.
