Michaels has introduced a collection of Paper holiday cottages as part of its seasonal decor range. The ready-made pieces come in floral patterns, measure about eight inches tall and feature windows that light up. Each cottage costs around $10.
The collection offers a lower-cost option for shoppers who want to create a miniature holiday village. The source contrasts the paper cottages with ceramic and porcelain pieces from brands such as Lemax and Department 56, which are known for their detailed designs and heirloom appeal.
Michaels has also added a cottagecore-style Advent calendar to its holiday offerings. The wooden calendar costs $50, comes in pastel colors and has windows with small scenes of animals celebrating the season.
The cottages and calendar are part of Michaels’ “Kitchsmas” collection, which is available online and in stores.
