Paint brands’ 2027 Colors of the Year range from natural greens and rich browns to subdued blues and grounded pinks. Together, the selections point to continued interest in Nature-inspired palettes and homes that feel comfortable and personal.
Among the greens, Behr’s Grounded pairs mossy olive with brown undertones, while Sherwin-Williams’ Celery offers a lighter pastel shade. Benjamin Moore’s Webster Green takes a more classic approach, balancing traditional character with contemporary appeal.
Earthy tones also feature prominently. Little Greene chose Marle, an understated brown intended to bring warmth and comfort, while Dunn-Edwards’ French Press Coffee is a deeper, atmospheric brown. Dutch Boy Paints’ Deep Rooted brings terracotta tones into the mix, with warm undertones suited to lived-in spaces.
Blue selections range from Valspar’s muted Cottage Door to California Paints’ deep Quiet Peace and Clark+Kensington’s brighter Vantage Point. Glidden’s Artifact offers a muted aqua, positioned as a gentle alternative to minimalist white.
The pinks take inspiration from earth and history. Graham & Brown’s Rose Earth combines subtle pink with a warm terracotta undertone, while C2’s Pueblo blends earthy pink and mauve. The selections frame color as a way to shape how people experience and interact with their homes.
