Quince’s European Linen Cotton Stitch Quilt Set, priced at $190 with shams, is a lightweight bedding option designed to work across seasons. In a review for Architectural Digest, the tester said it added a polished look to the bed without feeling overly formal and remained comfortable in a warm apartment.

The quilt has a front shell made from 55% European linen and 45% cotton, a 100% cotton back and a 100% cotton fill weighing 200 grams per square meter. It comes in Twin, Full/Queen and King/California King sizes, and can be machine-washed and tumble-dried on low.

The reviewer described the quilt as light and easy to pull over the body, with enough warmth and weight for comfortable sleep. Its low-loft, pick-stitch construction made it simple to create a neat-looking bed, while the texture helped disguise wrinkles in both the quilt and its shams. The reviewer found the shams useful for giving the bed a more put-together appearance.

There were a few pulled threads around the quilt’s border when it was first inspected. After a laundry cycle, however, the reviewer noticed no change in its soft feel and said it came out of the dryer without wrinkles or signs of fraying. The quilt was tested in a New York laundromat, where it faced high heat and no gentle-cycle option.

The reviewer said the set’s $190 price made it a worthwhile way to refresh a bed, particularly for people who want bedding that is easy to arrange. The warm ivory color was also highlighted as an option for a guest room.
