After more than a decade as an online retailer, Lulu and Georgia has opened its first physical showroom on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood’s Design District. Created with Los Angeles-based designer Kevin Klein, the space presents the brand’s home furnishings in a series of residential-inspired rooms rather than conventional retail displays.

Traditional architectural details meet contemporary furniture, sculptural lighting and varied patterns throughout the showroom. A blue-and-burgundy striped sofa anchors one living area, while warm wood, upholstered seating and arranged objects give the interiors a lived-in feel. Another room combines floral wallpaper, soft pink textiles and textured fabrics in a cozy bedroom setting.

Klein said the design draws on the mix of heritage details and modern construction found in renovated flats in Milan or Paris. That balance appears at the entrance, where a custom floral-inspired mosaic floor sits beneath a steel-framed skylight. Natural light falls across the patterned tiles, highlighting the contrast between traditional and contemporary elements.

The design also extends to how visitors move through the space. Decorative lights from Lulu and Georgia’s collections replace high-intensity track lighting, while varied materials and finishes distinguish the rooms. The showroom has no conventional checkout counter, instead using more hospitality-oriented points of interaction.

Visitors can browse bestsellers, new releases and designer collaborations, as well as a dedicated library of fabric and material swatches. Complimentary consultations with the in-house design team are available for projects ranging from floor plans to color palettes.

A courtyard mural by longtime collaborator Sarah Sherman Samuel adds another artistic element. The showroom also plans to host events, designer-led discussions and small gatherings for the local design community.
